Just a heads-up, we have a new ball machine and basket checkout policy. We’ve had some balls and equipment go missing, so this will help us keep everything accounted for and also monitor the condition of the balls.

We’ll hold your ID and take a quick photo of the basket before checkout. When you return everything, we’ll check it back in and return your ID. If the balls are below the marked line, there’s a $15 charge, and an empty basket is $50. Thank you!

Missing Ball Charges

Each BTC ball basket will have a marked tape line showing the minimum acceptable ball level.

When a basket is checked out, Front Desk staff will take a photo showing the starting ball level.

When the basket is returned:

● Balls at or above the marked line: No charge.

● Balls below the marked line: $15 charge to the card on file.

● Basket returned empty: $50 charge to the card on file.

“Why do you take a picture of the basket?”

“We take a quick photo so we can document the starting ball level. That way, when the basket is returned, we have a clear reference for both the customer and BTC.”

“Why do you keep my ID?”

“We temporarily hold your ID while the equipment is checked out so we can make sure everything is returned before we check it back in. Once you return the equipment, your ID is returned to you.”

“Why is there a line on the basket?”

“The line gives us a consistent minimum ball level. It takes the guesswork out of determining how many balls should be returned and makes the process fair and consistent for everyone.”

“Why are you doing this at all?”

“We’ve received a lot of feedback and concerns about the ball machines, ball quality, missing balls, and equipment. We’re listening. This new process is one of the ways we’re addressing those concerns and making sure the equipment stays in good condition and available for everyone.”
